Shane Lee Linstrom, the rapper better known as Murda Beatz, recently posted a photo of him standing in front of the Lamborghini Huracan he apparently crashed in Tokyo. As a true member of Gen Z, he had to post about the accident on social media with a posed photo, his back turned to the camera as he looked at the wreckage while also holding his half-consumed matcha tea.

A woman said she tried stealing a car because Kanye West told her to.

The Huracan definitely looks worse for wear. The front fascia is demolished in the photo, with the passenger-side (remember, that’s on the other side in Japan) fender ripped halfway off. We can’t see if there’s more cosmetic damage, but we’re guessing underneath there’s at least some structural issues which need to be addressed.

That’s not surprising considering in the image the Lambo’s nose is resting against a pole. If we had to guess, and we do since Murda doesn’t provide any details other than “I’ll be ok,” we’re guessing someone got a little too aggressive on the throttle, the car slid, he lifted, and the slide became worse as weight transference took its course.

Some of the rapper’s fans seem amused or are even admiring the crash, which is probably why Beatz posted the photo on the ‘Gram. If you don’t get it, that’s probably because you were born before 1995 and haven’t grown up with social media marketing on the brain but instead thought about street cred as a youth.

These days it’s cool to fail in stupid ways, then post about it online like it’s something to be celebrated. And we wonder why so many kids still live in their mom’s basement. They’re busy admiring a Canadian rapper guy who crashed a rental Lamborghini Huracan and acts like it’s no big deal because they think that’s power instead of realizing learning how to drive well and master other such skills is far more laudable.
