Musicians Hall of Fame to induct Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, more
The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum has inducted dozens of peerless talents since opening in Nashville 16 years ago — and it's about time that two of the city's greatest guitar-picking frontmen join the club.
Vince Gill and Marty Stuart (along with his band, His Fabulous Superlatives) are part of the Hall's just-announced 2022 class. They're joined by comedic country hitmaker Ray Stevens, "American Pie" singer-songwriter Don McLean, producer Jim Guercio and recording engineer George Massenburg.
They'll be inducted during a concert and ceremony at Nashville Municipal Auditorium — which houses the museum — on November 22. Country star and hit songwriter Phil Vassar will host, and tribute performers will include Rodney Crowell, Steve Miller, Wendy Moten and Mike Farris, with more to be announced.
This will be the Hall's first induction ceremony since 2019, and follows the September 28 passing of founder and C.E.O. Joe Chambers.
Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
