The 10 Safest Car Brands on the Road
When buying a new or used car, there are always different priorities for different drivers. Some want a great 0-60 time, others want more than 15 cup holders, and some want to be able to connect their iPhone to the car without a headache. No matter what your car-shopping priorities are, just about all drivers can agree on one attribute in their search– safety.
Massachusetts-based iSeeCars put together a study using its vast collection of classifieds to determine the safest brands on the road. The company took the number of listings of cars that were NHTSA 5-star cars, and divided it by the total number of cars tested by the NHTSA. Based on this, you can determine which brand has the highest likelihood of being a 5-star car when out there shopping.
We’re not entirely sold on the methodology used for the study. That said, it is a unique perspective that could help steer your car buying decision.
