The Quattro, as an actual vehicle model, has been long gone from the Audi lineup for quite some time now. And it wasn’t until 2010 that Audi teased any sort of plans to replace the much-loved rally car with a more powerful, better looking new concept.
Now, as rumors and reports from AutoZeitung of a new Quattro swirl around the interweb, we’re led to believe that a sexier, more powerful Quattro concept could grace the stages of the Frankfurt Auto Show this September.
As part of the brand’s 30th anniversary, the new Quattro rumored for Frankfurt could come in the form of a 650-hp, twin-turbocharged V8-powered coupe. On the outside, it could sport a similar getup to the stunning Quattro concept we saw back in 2010.
All of this points to a limited production run with a price tag somewhere in the market of $150,000 if/when it goes on the market.
