Final Aston Martin DBS Found: Rusty Heap Or Collector's Dream?

The DBS name has been used for several cars throughout Aston Martin's history, but as with all things automotive, there was an original. This is the last of the original DBSes, and it may just be one of the coolest barn finds this year.

Rusty, with the windows broken out, and in obvious disrepair, the barn find DBS is nonetheless complete, and as the last of the line, it holds a special place for Aston Martin fans and collectors.

The phrase "barn find" gets tossed around pretty lightly these days, being applied to cars that have simply been left to rot, cars that have long been owned but out of the spotlight, or just dilapidated wrecks. This, however, is a true barn find, having sat in an actual barn since 1980.

The auction will take place on March 10, at 5:30 p.m., at the Royal Horticultural Society in London. The DBS will be on display for interested parties from March 1-9 at Aston Martin W-One in London.
