Next-Gen Lincoln MKX Previewed With Beijing Auto Show Concept

Motor Authority

Lincoln’s current MKX has been on sale since the 2007 model year and has only been updated once during all these years. Lincoln is well aware that its mid-size crossover is in need of renewal, and we’re getting our first look at the next-generation version in the form of a concept at this week’s 2014 Beijing Auto Show.

Lincoln has just entered the Chinese market, and an exciting concept reveal during the nation’s premier auto show is a great way of putting itself on the map. Lincoln is launching in China with just two models, the MKZ and MKC, but plans to have a five-model lineup by 2016. Other models in the pipeline include new versions of the MKX and MKS as well as the recently updated Navigator.
