Ole Miss baseball score vs. Southern Miss: Live updates from super regional rematch

OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball will be out to score a fifth consecutive victory when it welcomes Southern Miss to Swayze Field on Tuesday for midweek action.

This is the first meeting between the in-state foes since the Hattiesburg Super Regional last June. The Rebels (10-2) swept the Golden Eagles (8-3) without allowing a run on their way to the first national championship in program history.

Ole Miss comes into this game having won the Cambria College Classic last weekend, beating Maryland, Minnesota and Nebraska for a perfect 3-0 showing at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The Golden Eagles are playing solid baseball, too. They bounced back from a midweek defeat to Mississippi State with a three-game sweep of Dallas Baptist last weekend.
