Panama City police searching for 69-year-old man with dementia who left hospital

PANAMA CITY — Local law enforcement officials are searching for a 69-year-old man who went missing Thursday evening.

According to the Panama City Police Department, officers were called to Gulf Coast Medical Center on Thursday after John Conner left the facility without receiving medical care or being properly discharged.

Conner, who has been missing since then, "has multiple medical issues, including dementia," a press release notes.

Conner was temporarily living at a local nursing facility. He was taken to the hospital after suffering a fall.

Standing about 6 feet tall and weighting 170 pounds, Conner has gray hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt and blue jeans.

"Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Panama City Police Department at 850-872-3100, or they can report tips anonymously via smartphone by downloading the Panama City PD Tip411 app," the release reads.
