Passenger Shoots At Truck During Road Rage Incident

Road rage has been a problem for a long time, but we think most people can agree it’s getting worse in many areas. What’s particularly scary is how many road rage fights involve using a deadly weapon, like this one out of Ohio where a passenger in a vehicle opened fire on a truck while traveling down a highway.

A drunk road rager gets a little bit of instant karma.

People really do need to stop treating every offense on the road like a life or death situation. A report from WXIX details out how 23-year-old Adell Hill is accused to discharging a single round at a road rage victim as she sat in the passenger seat of a car.

We don’t know details about the incident which happened in Springfield Township, Ohio but WXIX is trying to get that information. All we know is there was some sort of road rage incident and after that is when authorities say Hill shot at the victim in a truck.

Hill was arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $75,000 bond. She’s facing charges of felonious assault and discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises.

Other incidents of people shooting at other cars during road rage fights show what a risk this trend provides to everyone. It’s not a stretch to say some people would rather shoot at others on the road than just not get offended at the lack of a turn signal or some other relatively benign offense.

There are few situations which justify shooting at another driver. While we can’t say definitely this wasn’t one of those, the fact Hill was arrested and hit with criminal charges speaks volumes in our book. We’re guessing police didn’t find her actions to be done in defense of self or others but instead was borne out of rage.
