If you've kept up with Porsche 911R news in the past, you'll know secondhand examples are extremely hard to come by. As of three months ago, cars were reportedly changing hands for over $1 million. Now that the market's settled down a bit, more Rs are starting to pop up for sale, at lower and lower prices. This one, for sale at Miller Motorcars of Connecticut, might just be the cheapest one yet.

The market for the highly sought-after 911R is quite hard to judge from an outsider's perspective, as we could only find two cars for sale right now in the entire country. This plain-looking, unstriped example is currently listed on the dealer's website for $599,900, or around $100,000 cheaper than the more shouty, sticker-covered one for sale in Los Angeles.

Some bargain-seeking buyers might be turned off by this 911R's lack of signature decals or retro-styled houndstooth bucket seats, but these issues can be easily remedied by the new owner, should he or she want to conform to the typical factory R look.

Or maybe this sort of thing is exactly what a potential 911R owner is looking for. From a distance, this car doesn't look like anything more than a normal Carrera S with a GT3 bumper and some nice wheels. The only thing giving it away to hardcore car nerds are the yellow PCCB brake calipers, wide fenders, and the unique rear deck.

So, if you've been scared away by the 911R's potential seven-figure price tag, consider this example, because at $600,000, it seems like a really good deal.
