Power Profile: Mazda 6

When the redesigned 2014 Mazda 6 debuted, the midsize family sedan’s appeal skyrocketed. For two years in a row—2014 and 2015—the Mazda 6 ranked highest in its segment in the J.D. Power U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study.SM Most recently, the 2015 U.S. APEAL Study ranked a total of 12 Midsize Car models.

Changes to the 2016 Mazda 6 could help the car to retain that highest ranking (results of the 2016 U.S. APEAL Study will be announced on July 27, 2016). Mazda has installed a new infotainment system and new driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies, upgraded both the interior and exterior, and has added a Sport driving mode for cars with an automatic transmission.
