Ride Along as Ayrton Senna Dominates Monaco Grand Prix Qualifying in 1990

From Road & Track

To say Ayrton Senna was a dominant Formula 1 driver is an understatement. He's widely considered one of the best, if not the best of all time. Not only did he win three world championships between 1988 and 1991, he also held the record for most pole positions until 2006-12 years after his tragic and untimely death.

And if there was one race track Senna was most dominant on, it was Monaco. In ten years of Formula 1 racing, he won Monaco a record six times.

This clip from 1990 shows Senna during qualifying, where he eventually took pole position. He then led every single lap of the race, winning for the second year in a row.

With the Monaco Grand Prix coming up on Sunday, what better way to prepare than to sit back and watch the master at work?
