Position: RideApart Managing Editor

The Managing Editor will be responsible for creating and preparing editorial content daily about motorcycle news, reviews, and editorial on www.rideapart.com

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and editing editorial submissions from freelance contributors

  • Daily reporting of news, product introductions, and other stories

  • Story copy editing, news and story gathering, social media syndication and audience engagement

  • Working closely with the Creative Director on templates, style guides and other tools

  • Daily engagement with the motorcycle industry contacts, audience engagement website forums and social channels

Job Requirements

Candidates should have a college degree in journalism, English and/or a related field with at least three years of reporting and editing experience with print and online properties. A passion for motorcycles and motorcycle culture across segments required. The RideApart Editorial team is based in Southern California; however, the candidate may live and work remotely.
