We've all been there. You're sitting in your Rolls-Royce Phantom, surrounded by acres of leather and lambswool, getting a back massage, and drinking champagne as you're chauffeured to your breakfast meeting. And then you happen to pass by a a SpaceX Falcon 9 orbital launch vehicle carrying a Dragon crewed capsule down the interstate and suddenly you look embarrassed. Because while your limousine is opulent and comfortable, it cannot show you the astral wonders of orbital spaceflight. And while you could always purchase a Falcon 9, its lack of massaging seats puts you back at square one.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus Collection attempts to solve this dilemma, offering the luxury you expect in a Rolls-Royce with the extraterrestrial wonder of far-away galaxies. Its blue-flaked dark paint reflects the same twinkling beauty of a night sky, while a frozen-wave metallic art display dominates the dashboard as a tribute to what Rolls-Royce calls the "Frozen Flow of Time." Rolls-Royce commits to the bit by omitting the clock entirely, saying this can "signify patrons’ freedom from time and its limitations." You don't need to arrive on time if you show up in a Space Limo.

The real awe-inspiring facet is the pulsars that define the headliner and interior door panels. These complement the already-stunning starlight headliner that uses fiber-optic cables to simulate a starry night sky. Now, those stars are joined by massive swirling galaxies on the roof and illuminated pulsars on the doors. They're arranged in flowing, wavy patterns that are truly stunning. And because it's Rolls-Royce, the champagne chest gets special treatment too:

"A pulsar artwork is hand-painted onto the table, below which, the perfectly appointed chest houses thermal flasks for chilling both champagne and caviar, four hand-blown crystal champagne flutes arranged to evoke the cylinders of a V12 engine and a fine mother-of-pearl caviar spoon."

We've reached out to SpaceX to confirm whether the Dragon capsule can be ordered with mother-of-pearl caviar spoons, but, frankly, we're not optimistic. The Tempus Collection seems to be the only space limo game in town. A shame, as all 20 examples of the Phantom Tempus Collection have already been sold.
