Tilly’s
Specialty retailer Tilly’s appointed Laura Janney to as executive vice president, chief merchandising officer, effective May 8. Janney will oversee all merchandising operations, including buying, sourcing and product development, and coordinate consistency in in-store and online merchandising experiences.
Before joining Tilly’s, she was with Hudson’s Bay from July 2019 to January 2023, most recently as its chief merchandising officer. She also worked for Nordstrom for 32 years in several retail store and merchandise roles.

Matalan
Matalan, a British fashion and home goods retailer, appointed Ali Jones as chief customer and omnichannel officer, effective April 19. She will establish a new customer function within Matalan to connect all customer touchpoints.
JCPenney
JCPenney appointed Katie Mullen as chief customer officer. Previously serving as chief digital officer, she will continue to oversee e-commerce strategy and omnichannel development, emphasizing customer marketing, engagement, analytics and more.
Mullen will lead JCP’s efforts to deliver an end-to-end integrated shopping experience and drive innovation in digital, data and analytics.
Dollar General
Dollar General promoted Kelly Dilts to executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective May 1. The company’s current president and CFO, John Garratt, will retain his role as president until he retires on June 2.
Dilts has 30 years of experience in retail financial and strategic planning, operational finance and controllership. Since joining Dollar General in July 2019, she has served as senior vice president, finance, responsible for financial planning and analysis, procurement, margin planning and analytics, decision science and analytics, and investor relations.

Farfetch
Luxury marketplace Farfetch‘s new chief marketing officer Nick Tran will report to chief marketplace officer, Edward Sabbagh, and oversee all global marketing functions for Farftech Marketplaces.
Tran brings over 20 years of experience building brands, developing high-performing teams and creating innovative marketing strategies. Most recently, Tran was TikTok‘s global head of marketing, overseeing the B2C marketing, including global brand strategy, strategic partnerships, paid media, social media and organic content.
Dr. Martens
Dr. Martens said Jon Mortimore has decided to retire as chief financial officer and will remain until the company finds a successor.
During his seven years at Dr. Martens, he was instrumental in delivering the British brand’s transition from a family-run company to a listed PLC, overseeing revenue growth from nearly $286 million to roughly $1.2 billion, as well as guiding the company’s IPO in January 2021.
Levi Strauss & Co.
Levi Strauss & Co. has appointed Kenny Mitchell as senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Levi’s brands, effective June 5. Reporting to president Michelle Gass, Mitchell will be responsible for advancing the Levi’s brand’s consumer marketing strategies, focused on building denim leadership equity.
Mitchell brings more than 20 years of brand-building experience in the U.S. and internationally, in addition to digital, creative and innovation expertise. He joins Levi Strauss & Co. from Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, where he has served since 2019 as chief marketing officer and led the growth of the platform’s global community, advertising base and developer partners.
Vuori
Southern California activewear brand Vuori hired four C-suite executives to help the brand continue its growth while providing enhanced infrastructure capabilities, leadership on key initiatives and high performance and operations.
Vuori hired former Yeti executive Hugh Garrity as its chief operating officer. In this role, Garrity will focus on building pillars of sustainability scale across systems, tools and personnel. Libby Stockstill will serve as the brand’s first general counsel and corporate secretary. She will establish Vuori’s legal department, building the function from the ground up. Jen Frisch is Vuori’s first chief people officer and will lead hiring initiatives to meet growth plans as the company scales into new geographies. Bryan Muehlberger is the company’s first chief information officer, overseeing all digital and information technology and implementing new technologies.
OrthoLite
Supplier of open-cell foam technology OrthoLite has announced Marc Kronenberg as development and commercialization director for OrthoLite Cirql, its patented circular footwear solution for brands and factories.
Kronenberg joins the OrthoLite Cirql team with more than two decades of experience in global footwear manufacturing. He will support the commercialization of Cirql innovations by leading polymer formulations processing and tooling.
Hanna Andersson
Children’s apparel brand Hanna Andersson hired Davida Lindsay-Bell as head of people and inclusion.
Reporting to CEO Aimée Lapic, Lindsay-Bell will focus on culture development, internal communications, DEI strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent management and more.

Archroma
Archroma, a global provider of specialty chemicals serving the branded and performance textiles markets, said Heike van de Kerkhof, CEO of Archroma since January 2020, will step down effective April 30. Industry executive Mark Garrett will assume the role of interim CEO. Archroma’s board of directors retained an executive search firm to evaluate both internal and external candidates for her replacement.
Spinnova
Spinnova’s CEO Kim Poulsen has stepped down as CEO. Chief financial officer, Ben Selby, is acting as interim CEO.
Chargeurs
Chargeurs PCC, an apparel interlining manufacturer, hired three new executives. It named Azzurra Pasta as chief marketing officer, Eric Ducoin as chief corporate social responsibility officer, and Richard Cossu as general manager and vice president of commercial and business development of the Senfa unit.

Recurate
Circular economy tech company Recurate named Yoram Givon as vice president of engineering. Givon will oversee Recurate’s entire engineering division and spearhead enhancements to the tech platform to improve the overall experience for Recurate’s brand partners, sellers and shoppers. Givon has over 20 years of experience managing engineering teams at Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and Europe, including Visa and Vrbo. He is experienced in mobile development, cloud-based and SaaS solutions, IT operations and large-scale commercial deployments.
