Moorestown Rotary hosts 2nd Street Market

Rotary Club of Moorestown will host the 2nd Street Market from 5 to 8 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month through October, beginning April 14, at the Moorestown Municipal Complex.

The event will feature a food truck, beer garden, music, games and more.

Proceeds will be used for improvements at Fullerton Park.

Center hosts Art for Ukraine

Perkins Center for the Arts will host Art for Ukraine from April 18 to 29. An artist reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. April 22 and will include pierogies and Ukrainian music.

The exhibit will feature works by three Ukrainian artists, Steve Kuzma, Catherine Kuzma and Athena Zhe. The artists will donate their proceeds from the show to the relief efforts in Ukraine.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Rodrigo y Gabriela to perform at Rowan University

Rowan University’s College of Performing Arts, home of the Marie Rader Presenting Series, will present Rodrigo y Gabriela, a Grammy award-winning Mexican acoustic-rock duo, in concert at 8 p.m. April 16 at Pfleeger Concert Hall.

Tickets are $100 for VIP, which includes premium seating and preshow reception at 6:30 p.m., featuring wine, beer, light bites and music, $60 for orchestra, $40 for ADA seating and mezzanine, $40 for Rowan employees and alumni and free for Rowan students, while supply lasts.

Celebrate Third Friday in Millville

Glasstown Arts District will host Third Friday beginning at 6 p.m. April 15 at art galleries, shops, restaurants and more along High Street and in Downtown Millville.

Adventure Aquarium hosts Penguin Party

Did you know that Adventure Aquarium has two different types of penguins?

You can find out more about African and Little Blue Penguins during the aquarium’s Penguin Party through May 8.

Guests are invited to hunt for the elusive Golden Egg (and a chance to win an Adventure Aquarium gift card!), get all their penguin questions answered by a biologist, meet the aquarium’s two species of penguins (and maybe get a peek at the newest Little Blue Penguin chick, which is tentatively scheduled to be on exhibit April 15), watch penguin enrichment demonstrations, and enjoy some “people enrichment” activities as well.

Tickets are $26.99 to $44.99 for ages 13 to 64, $18.99 to $34.99 for ages 2 to 12 and $24.99 to $42.99 for ages 65 and older; advance ticket purchase is recommended as capacity is limited.

Motorless fun scheduled at New Jersey Motorsports Park

Calling all bicyclists, skateboarders, rollerbladers, runners, walkers and parents with strollers! New Jersey Motorsports Park will host Inspira Health Motor(less) Nights on the third Thursday of the month through October.

Activities start as soon as daily track activities finish, between 5 and 6 p.m., and continue until dusk.

Visitors are invited to bike, skate, rollerblade, run and walk along one of the park’s road courses. Proper personal protective equipment is required.

Longwood Gardens presents ‘Spring Blooms’

Visitors are invited to enjoy the colors, scents and sounds of spring during “Spring Blooms” at Longwood Gardens through May 1.

“As the season unfolds, flowering trees delightfully punctuate the landscape, radiant tulips stretch toward the sun, and the delicious fragrance of wisteria floats along the breeze, beckoning you further into the effervescent beauty of spring,” according to the Longwood Gardens’ website.

Tickets are $25 for ages 19 to 61, $22 for ages 62 and older and college students with identification, $13 for ages 5 to 18 and free for ages 4 and younger. Timed tickets are required.
