Many people enjoy the Discovery Channel television show Street Outlaws, so they’ll be disturbed to learn start JJ Da Boss and his wife Tricia Day were injured in a car crash while filming an episode in La Villa, Texas. According to reports, they were drag racing each other in their Chevy Novas when the accident occurred. Day’s injuries were bad enough she apparently was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Reportedly, the two cars made contact as they rocketed down the dragstrip. Day’s car veered into a production van. When vehicles are accelerating and are already at high speeds, one small mistake can make everything go sideways in the blink of an eye.
