It's somewhat hard to understand why Subaru continues to serve up the Tribeca, which is an inferior SUV, in most respects, to its own Outback. The Tribeca does have a third row of seats and more superficial horsepower, but it's essentially the same size as the Outback, more blandly styled, and also nearly $10,000 more expensive. As the name implies, the Tribeca isn't designed to be an offroad car (though it does have perfectly adequate all-weather capability). It's a mall-mobile, a conveyance for soccer gear. Pros Cons
Comfort overall: i have 3 boys & they love the room The fuel economy is much less than desired.
I love to drive my car. engine / transmission is awesome. Low visibility when changing lanes to the right
Handling and responsiveness. quick acceleration 3rd seat leg room - only room for children
All wheel drive & braking No mirror memory function - should be connected to seat memory
Interior design - very pleasant to be in Poor variety of paint colors offered
Interior and exterior appearance - high degree of quality Rear space in trunk when seats are in use
Audio - sound system is very state of the art Headrests are too bulky & block view when backing
Driving dynamics - very smooth & reliable drive Engine transmission - mpg - not good when compared to kia sorento
Electric adjustable driver & passenger seats Cruise control difficult and awkward - should be on steering wheel
Awd - the reason we bought the car Awd - still sliding in winter
