Talladega Superspeedway to serve as drop-off point to support Hurricane Helene recovery efforts

Late last week, Hurricane Helene traveled up the Eastern United States, making landfall across multiple communities in Florida’s Gulf Coast, Western North Carolina, Virginia and many more surrounding areas in NASCAR’s backyard. While the rebuild will be long and difficult in these communities, Talladega Superspeedway and NASCAR are committed to drive meaningful and positive impact by supporting recovery in the places where the industry and fans live, work and race.

Talladega Superspeedway will be serving as a drop-off location for supplies during the upcoming race weekend to support Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. Donations will be routed to families in need in affected areas.

REQUESTED ITEMS:
Canned/non-perishable food
Bottled water
Diapers
Wipes

Fans may choose to make a financial contribution. The NASCAR Foundation is accepting donations to support the American Red Cross in its disaster relief efforts. Donations can be made here.

WHERE:
Collection will take place at Talladega Superspeedway outside of the Turn 3 tunnel, near the Dega Depot.

WHEN:
Thursday, Oct. 3 – Saturday, Oct. 5: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 6: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
