The man suspected of stabbing two Museum of Modern Art employees took to social media on Sunday to rant about the attack and the police.

“NOTE to catty beeyotches of the world, words are sharper than knives,” Gary Cabana, 60, wrote on his Facebook, adding, “Bipolar is a tough road to hoe. Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. THEN U get framed ind evicted from MoMA.”

Cabana, who is on the run after allegedly attacking the two workers Saturday after his membership was revoked and he was denied entry, wrote that “a bitter old woman,” presumably a museum worker, had earlier “shushed” him for laughing during the screening of a comedy film.

The suspected stabber also appeared to accuse the New York City museum of lying about previous incidents. A New York Police Department spokesman confirmed Saturday that Cabana was known to the authorities due to “past incidents” that had occurred at the museum, which Cabana referred to as a “frame job.”

“THERE WERE NO DISRUPTIONS,” Cabana posted. “Security NEVER escorted me from MoMA on the 2 ‘supposed’ days I ‘acted up: 2/24 + 3/9. Total blind side when I got ‘the letter.’” The letter in question was a notice mailed Friday that MoMA had revoked Cabana’s membership.

A post of MoMA art of Cabana’s Instagram has likewise become a forum about the violent attack. Some commenters called for the suspect to turn himself in, and Cabana criticized the police for not catching him: “I should’ve been caught on 5th av in front of ALL THE RICH PEEPS. They would have so proud of their police. But instead the Morons searched an empty museum.”

Earlier Sunday, the NYPD released harrowing footage showing the moment Cabana jumped over a reception desk and stabbed two workers on Saturday afternoon.

The 33-second surveillance clip shows Cabana angrily cornering the two employees, identified only as a 24-year-old man and 24-year-old woman, after he was denied entry to the museum and informed his membership had been revoked.

In the footage, Cabana can be seen allegedly stabbing the woman before she runs off, leaving him in a standoff with the male receptionist. As Cabana lunges toward that employee, a security worker throws a file at him, though he pulls back when he sees the knife.

The female employee was stabbed in the neck and back, while the male employee was stabbed in the collarbone. Both are expected to survive.

Police identified Cabana as the suspect Saturday night, though they have not located him yet.

On Saturday, a music supervisor who had been visiting the museum, Weston Pagano, told The Daily Beast he saw two people being taken out of the famed art institution on stretchers.

“[They] were conscious, which was a relief to see,” Pagano told The Daily Beast. “One had visible blood on her left side and shouted something as she was being loaded in, but I couldn’t make out what it was.”
