Tesla Is Now Offering Cybertruck Leases That Start at $1068 a Month
Tesla will now lease you the Cybertruck electric pickup.
There are options for 24- or 36-month leases that require $7500 down and can be selected with mileage limits of 10,000, 12,000, and 15,000 miles per year.
Both the Dual Motor and tri-motor Cyberbeast trims can be leased, with the Dual Motor starting at $1068 per month and the Cyberbeast at $1284 per month.
If you find yourself daydreaming about driving a Tesla Cybertruck but can't quite reconcile yourself to buying one outright, good news: Tesla is now offering leases for both the Dual Motor version and tri-motor Cyberbeast version of the much-discussed electric pickup.
There are options for 24- and 36-month leases that require a $7500 deposit—though that figure rises to an estimated $10,484 with fees due at signing on Tesla's configurator. The standard mileage limit is 10,000 miles per year with options for 12,000 miles and 15,000 miles.
A 36 month lease of the Dual Motor truck with 10,000 miles comes out to $1068 each month and rises to $1087 at 12,000 miles and $1107 at 15,000 miles. Opting for the Cyberbeast sees those figures rise to $1284 at 10,000 miles, $1311 at 12,000 miles, and $1338 at 15,000 miles. The lease configurator also allows customers to opt for the range extender option, which requires a $2000 non-refundable deposit. The range extender is currently estimated on Tesla's website to cost $16,000 with Tesla planning production for mid-2025.
According to Tesla, there is no buyout option at the end of the lease, and the truck must be returned to the automaker when the terms are up. If you'd rather just buy it outright, pricing for purchasing the Cybertruck starts at $81,895 for the Dual Motor option and jumps to $101,985 for the more powerful Cyberbeast.
