New TikTok trend shows why users are ‘only human after all’

The old adage “nobody’s perfect” is getting revamped by TikTokers with a new meme.

Users are sharing a clip from British singer Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human” music video and showing all the times people have defended themselves for making a mistake.

While this trend started before the Super Bowl, the song was reintroduced to the masses during a commercial from He Gets Us — a Christian initiative from Servant Foundation.

Rag’n’Bone Man released “Human” in 2016, but the song went viral in 2022 with a trend of slideshow videos that utilized cartoons to show faults in society. On TikTok, the sound has over 158,000 videos, plus many more videos in this trend that don’t credit the original sound.

The trend is simplified now, with just the cutout of Rag’n’Bone Man from his music video spinning on the screen.

“It can’t even be called a mistake at this point. But I act shocked every time,” wrote @anndroid69 in their caption.

TikTokers are using this trend to show more than just their bowel movement issues, as construction work and the time it takes to complete a project were also caught in the crossfire.
