The Sequoia is a monstrous full-sized SUV that feels slightly dated at the dawning of the age of Extreme Fuel Efficiency. This is a family car, but one with serious truck underpinnings and a V8 engine. It's for hauling kids, boats, and maybe kids in boats. You could put a pony in a trailer or in the cavernous backseat. Upper trim levels feature captain's chairs for the second row and a rear-row Blu-Ray entertainment system. Toyota already has a hard-core off-road vehicle in the Land Cruiser, so the Sequoia is designed more for comfortable trips from the ranch to the mall and back. See more... See Less

Pros Cons
Comfort & leg room of driver's seat Gas mileage worse than estimates even with a majority of highway miles
Power lift gate makes it a breeze to load / unload Steering column plastic wood grain too cold to touch in winter
Storage & space - room for everything Limited rear storage space because of collapsible seats.
Smooth ride especially at highway speeds Navigation system-map installed is wrong
3rd row - adults can sit comfortably as well as children Power driver's seat should slide back for ease of entry.
Vehicle interior - most comfortable large suv on the market Width - difficult to park in garage with rearview mirror out.
Visibility & driving safety - love the vehicle height & safety Steering wheel - don't like the smooth wood look
Quality is excellent throughout vehicle Storage and space - with 3rd row up, there isnt much room
Styling and cargo capacity are great Leather seating does not hold up well to denim & similar material
Driving is a great experience for a large vehicle Loud engine roars when accelerating at low speeds
