Yes, there are still "station wagons" in the world, but really, the middle-class people mover is looking more and more like the Toyota Venza, which has some DNA from crossover utility vehicles, some from the Toyota Camry, and pretensions of someday becoming a Lexus when the kids are grown. It's lower to the ground than the average SUV but without the third row of seating, and lacks the pickup of a smaller, lighter car unless you get the optional V6. Safety ratings are a mixed bag, and fuel economy is fairly poor. Reviews and Ratings
Overall
Pros Cons
Comfortable to drive & ride in Price - but i got a nice car
Exterior styling - venza looks great Blind spot in driver's rear - view mirror
Driving dynamics-vehicle is solid, stabile with stiff but quiet ride Very hard to adjust front seats, not enough hand room
Storage & space - extremely roomy with loads of storage It seems that the brakes are not as responsive as my camry
Leg room - it has the best leg room of any car in its class More room in trunk/tailgate for storage
Hands-free device - very useful & clear - communication open. Visibility & driving safety - wife has difficult seeing over the head
Car rides very smoothly for a large vehicle Not getting the highway mileage we were told
Very versatile to load & unload Blind spots when changing lanes
A vehicle with awd is critical to being able to drive around vermont in the winter Road noise from tires - the quieter, the better.
Value! best value for the money Stiff ride - i prefer a softer more luxurous ride.
