Drawn by the sunshine, desert aesthetic and especially the bar and nightlife in Old Town Scottsdale that some now call a “mini Las Vegas” brides are flocking to Scottsdale for prenuptial girls' weekends.

According to the Bach App, Scottsdale was the most popular destination for bachelorette parties in 2021, second only to Nashville.

"It became this playground for the wealthy, that has tripled and expanded ... now everyone is coming and having a great time,” said Casey Hohman, CEO of Scottsdale Bachelorette, a company that provides party planning and decorating services.

Whether you're looking for a low-key girls' getaway or a wild weekend of pool parties and nightclubs, Scottsdale had something for every bridal group. Hohman and Nelson Brooks, CEO of The Cabana Boys shared some suggestions for making the most of your weekend.

Some brides may want their own private dining room or a set menu for their party and these popular restaurants have experience accommodating bach parties.

The Fat Ox

Those looking for a fancy, five-course, family-style menu should look no further. The Fat Ox, an upscale Italian restaurant, offers its family-style menu exclusively for parties of 8 to 14 people. The flat rate price per person is $95 dollars and the menu include the likes of an affettati misti charcuterie board with prosciutto di San Daniele and aged Calabrian pecorino and veal meatballs served with Giusto polenta. Reservations are recommended at least two weeks in advance.

Maple & Ash

If you’re looking for delicious dining with a boatload of aesthetics, Maple & Ash might be the right destination for your night out. The restaurant, which serves a robust menu of steaks, seafood and drinks has a signature fire-roasted seafood tower that can be built to taste with options like wild blue prawns, manila clams and half Maine lobsters. The restaurant can also make a personalized menu with your name on it for a super customized bachelorette dining experience.

Toca Madera

This Mexican-inspired steakhouse is known for farm-to-table cocktails like the Mono See Mono made with monkey 47 gin, mezcal, blackberry, strawberry and cilantro. Parties of up to 14 people can book a private dining space. Reservations are recommended two weeks in advance.

Fine dining and a good vibe aren't mutually exclusive. These restaurants offer gourmet eats and nightclub beats.

Call Her Martina

This new restaurant at Scottsdale Fashion Square offers aesthetically pleasing plates, live DJs on the weekend and some seriously good, modern Mexican food. Dining critic Andi Berlin recommends the charcoal ribeye aguachile and beets in the clouds to start, the tuna fresco tostada and the short rib al tinto to share and flan for dessert.

Francine

Francine is a chic restaurant in Scottsdale Fashion Square that features muted pink banquettes in the stylish interior and a menu of coastal French food with a Mediterranean twist. The restaurant's mid-century modern vibe combines comfort and elegance in the best way. But the super fresh seafood, pasta and vegetarian options is the real draw.

The Mission

The Mission is housed in an old mission and is a local favorite for the modern Latin-inspired menu and Old Town vibe, but it is reservation only — so be sure to call ahead at least two weeks in advance, especially during the peak season from October to June. Menu highlights include its crispy pork with cola lime glaze served in iceberg lettuce and Tecate battered mahi-mahi with green olive aioli. Parties larger than 12 are served a set menu.

Best brunch restaurants in Old Town

The best thing after a night out is a delicious brunch — and Scottsdale has plenty of options, from a sleek kitchen that serves Mexican-Asian fusion cuisine to a coffeehouse that serves mimosa flights.

SumoMaya

SumoMaya is known for its bottomless brunch and a menu that blends Asian and Mexican flavors into tapa-style dishes perfect for sharing. Three to five dishes are recommended per person to share. The menu includes everything from pomegranate and king crab guacamoles to Korean beef and skirt steak tacos and crudo options like tuna and salmon rainbow ceviche and ahi tuna tostada. JOJO Coffeehouse

The brunch is good at JOJO Coffeehouse, but what's even better is their coffee and mimosa flights. A mimosa flight comes with five house-made mimosas including traditional orange, cranberry-lime, peach bellini, pineapple and apple-cinnamon. Their coffee flight includes JOJO cold brew coffee, mocha, latte, caramel macchiatoand a white mocha. Drinks aside, the restaurant boasts a robust brunch menu and a modern, airy space.

The Montauk

The Montauk is a Scottsdale brunch classic with a great outdoor patio and couches inside for comfortable seating. Plus, there's live music on the daily, just check the "happenings" schedule on the website to see what kind of music will be playing. Menu highlights include the weekender sandwich served on a brioche bun with smashed avocado, swiss and eggs and a short rib huevos rancheros served with over easy eggs, braised short rib, refried black beans, red onion and morita-cashew salsa.

The best party bars

The night starts once dinner ends and these bars are worth a visit.

The Beverly on Main

This classic cocktail lounge is a great place to start the night. The bar also has its own secret room, tucked away behind a bookshelf that can fit up to 20 people for a private party with personal bar service. Reservations can be made online, but can only be booked one month out. They recommend reserving within two to three weeks of a bachelorette party.

Boondocks Patio and Grill

The Boondocks Patio and Grill is exactly what it sounds like — food, drinks, live music and a patio with plenty of seating. The grill serves bar food like buffalo ranch shrimp and peanut butter burgers. Check the live music schedule online before heading to the all-day, everyday bar.

Wine Girl

Aside from providing the perfect Instagram aesthetic, Wine Girl in Old Town Scottsdale is an idyllic destination for wine lovers.
