Rajnath Singh slams JD (U) for the split

BJP President Rajnath Singh on Sunday assailed former alliance partner Janata Dal-United (JD-U) for breaking ties with the BJP over appointment of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as head of the party's election campaign for the 2014 General Elections. Singh said this while addressing a public rally in Patna. Singh also questioned as to what was the crime Modi committed to be criticised in this way. Further he said Modi's elevation was a part of strategy to win the upcoming 2014 polls and to oust the ruling Congress party from power.
