Lamborghini's SUV, the Urus, is entering 2025 with major updates to its powertrain. It's now offered with a plug-in-hybrid setup with 789 horsepower, and this model is called the Urus SE.
The Urus SE also ushers in a new look for the Urus as part of the model's mid-cycle facelift.
The headlights are new, and the hood has been reshaped for a sleeker look.
The rear end is also revised, with a lower license plate mounting location and a more sharply creased rear hatch.
Lamborghini offers lots of different colors for the Urus, and you can customize the exterior and interior trim using the company's Ad Personam personalization program.
Several different wheel sizes are offered, ranging up to 23 inches.
The Urus SE's plug-in-hybrid powertrain uses a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8.
This is the same engine that was found in the previous nonhybrid Urus, but in this application it makes significantly more power.
The grand total is 789 horsepower produced by the electric motor and V-8 engine.
All-wheel drive is standard, and there's now an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential.
An eight-speed automatic is the only transmission choice.
