Acura is making an additional 50 2023 TLX Type S PMC Editions to go with the 300 red, white, and blue PMC Editions it produced late last year. The limited-run PMC Editions are mechanically identical to the standard TLX Type S, but these will be finished in a limited run Gotham Gray. These newest versions will run a hefty premium over the standard TLX Type S, and start at $66,995.

The new special edition is limited to only 50 units and is finished in a matte paint called Gotham Gray.

Like the other three PMC Editions, Acura pulled this color from the NSX, this time from the now out of production NSX Type S, where the matte gray paint is a $6000 add-on for only 70 cars.

The 2023 Acura TLX Type S PMC Edition is named after the Performance Manufacturing Center where it is built.

Production of the TLX Type S PMC Edition at the Performance Manufacturing Center follows that of the NSX Type S supercar, which ended after the 2022 model year.

Underneath the bodywork, the mechanics are identical to what you'll find in the standard TLX Type S. That includes a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine making 355 horsepower, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and Acura's SH-AWD system with torque vectoring.

While it is mechanically the same as the standard TLX Type S, the limited edition PMC edition does get a handful of visual tweaks from black wheels, badging, and door handles to a carbon-fiber decklid lip spoiler and rear diffuser.

The cabin of the PMC Edition has a red leather interior with black contrast stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a host of carbon-fiber trim pieces.

All PMC Editions are hand-assembled at the eponymous Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio.

Each of the limited-run cars comes with a unique PMC Edition serial plaque.
