The rear-drive Genesis G70 3.3T is cheaper to own and drinks less fuel than the all-wheel-drive version, but it also excels in terms of cornering and braking because it comes with stickier tires.
The rear-drive Genesis G70 3.3T looks identical to its all-wheel-drive cousin.
It's also powered by the same engine, a turbocharged V-6 rated at up to 368 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque.
The rear-driver comes with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires instead of the Michelin Primacy all-seasons that the all-wheel-drive version has.
Brembo brakes are the order of the day, with four-piston fixed calipers up front and two-piston fixed calipers in the back.
These nappa-leather seats look great. They feel wonderful at first but seem a bit flat after a couple hours in the saddle.
The instruments ahead of the wheel are a combination of physical gauges and onscreen graphics.
The center stack does some things right in that the sound-system and HVAC controls are distinctly separate, but the volume and tuning knobs are miles apart, and the climate controls are too haptic.
There is a lot of room up front, but this back seat lacks legroom and toe room.
