Kia is updating the Sorento mid-size SUV for 2024 with a new look and new features. It also adds an X-Pro trim level that has all-terrain tires for extra off-road capability.
The big changes up front are to the headlights and grille, which lend the Sorento a more modern look.
There are also new wheel designs and color options.
The engine options carry over and include a 191-hp 2.5-liter inline-four and a 281-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four.
The taillight design is also new for 2024, and the rear fascia is tweaked.
Inside there are larger screens for the infotainment display and digital gauge cluster.
The second-row seats are available with a captain's chair layout.
A third row of seats is standard, offering either six- or seven-passenger capacity.
If you want more cargo space behind the third row, Kia's larger Telluride is the answer.
The Sorento lineup also includes hybrid and plug-in-hybrid models, and those receive the same styling changes for the 2025 model year.
The X-Pro trim level is new for 2024 and includes all-terrain tires and 17-inch wheels.
