Maybach gets its first electric vehicle with the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV.
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is a more powerful and more luxurious version of the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.
The Maybach borrows its powertrain from the Mercedes-AMG EQS sedan. Here, it makes 649 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque, easily exceeding the EQS580 SUV's 536 horsepower.
These beefy monoblock wheels are a Maybach design cue, as is two-tone paint.
A grille with vertical strakes is a characteristic Maybach feature, although this "grille" is actually closed off. The stand-up hood ornament features the Mercedes logo, and double-M Maybach logos are plentiful elsewhere.
The Maybach EQS SUV's rear isn't nearly as distinctive as the rest of the exterior.
The Maybach's cockpit is very similar to the Benz version. The Hyperscreen is standard and includes Maybach-specific graphics.
You'd have a difficult time trying to find a more comfortable way to travel. The SUV can be had with individual rear seats or a three-passenger bench. There is no third row.
The rear compartment features all kinds of amenities, including deployable leg rests, pillowed headrests, throw pillows, infotainment screens, and tablets to control them.
These available logo-mesh wheels have a strong aftermarket vibe that should appeal to more extroverted types.
