The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid combines an electric motor and a V-8 gas engine for the kind of blistering hustle you'd expect from something with a Turbo badge on it. We tested a Coupe model, but it's also available in the standard Cayenne SUV body style without the faster roofline.

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe is quite the mouthful, and as it turns out, it's quite the handful as well.

An electric motor and a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 combine to produce a prodigious 729 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque.

That output gets sent to all four wheels by way of an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In our testing, the Turbo E-Hybrid shot its way to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds.

It's equally impressive in EV mode, where we managed 39 miles of battery range at a steady 75 mph.

The Cayenne's cabin was freshened up for 2024.

A new digital cluster ditches any semblance of physical gauges, opting for increased customizability instead.

Smash the gas pedal and this hybrid gets loud in a good way—83 decibels at wide-open throttle, to be precise.

As expected, the Cayenne's interior is richly appointed, with leather covering nearly every surface that piano-black trim does not.
