The 2025 Rimac Nevera R is an evolved version of the original Nevera, which was an 1813-hp electric hypercar. The R ups the ante with 2107 horsepower as well as upgrades that make it more aerodynamic and faster around a racetrack.
The Rimac Nevera R has a more aggressive design than its predecessor.
Rimac claims the Nevera R can hit 60 mph in 1.7 seconds and accelerate from zero to 186 mph in 8.7 seconds.
Part of the Nevera's new look is this dual-layer fixed rear wing, which along with other aero upgrades provides 15 percent more downforce.
The Nevera's face has been widened and streamlined on the R, with the front clip now one piece to optimize the aerodynamics.
The R-rated Nevera's interior is very similar to the model it replaces, and this one features Nebula Green accents.
Rimac claims the Nevera R has the biggest and stiffest carbon-fiber structure of any new car.
The Nevera has new electric motors, with the four of them combining to make 2107 horsepower.
The Rimac's new battery has a 108.0-kWh capacity and features new chemistry better suited for sustained high-performance driving.
An official estimated electric range is still awaiting certification, but we expect the Nevera R to have a driving range of about 213 miles.
The Nevera R will go on sale early next year, but only 40 will be built, and the U.S. versions will cost about $2.5 million.
