Watch This 5-Year-Old Hit 193 MPH in Lamborghini Revuelto
Zayn Sofoğlu is just five years old, but he's already done something most adults never will: he just pushed a 1015-hp Lamborghini Revuelto to 312 kph, or 193 mph, on a closed runway. Zayn comes by his need for speed honestly: the boy’s father is former motorcycle racer and five-time Supersport World Champion Kenan Sofoğlu.
Zayn’s Instagram account (run by his parents) already has 3.5 million followers, who we can only assume were thrilled to see the video uploaded on Monday showing the young boy blasting along in the Lamborghini on a runway. He's clearly no stranger to piloting motor vehicles, as his page is filled with pictures and videos of him riding motorcycles, carts, trikes, and almost anything else with wheels — but this Lamborghini drive might be his most impressive yet.
The video begins with the elder Sofoğlu helping the boy put on his gear and setting up the booster seat in the $600,000 Lamborghini. At that point, Zayn climbs in and fires up the car, and with dad riding shotgun, Zayn launches the Lambo down the runway. The in-car footage shows him confidently snapping off upshifts using the paddles behind the wheel, eventually reaching his maximum velocity of 193 mph in seventh gear. (For the record, that's not too far off from the 217-mph top speed Lamborghini claims the Revuelto is capable of.) As if that high-speed run wasn't exciting enough, young Zayn celebrates by perfectly executing a few smoky donuts in the hybrid Lambo.
In the span of just a few minutes, this little tyke pushed the Revuelto harder than most adult owners ever will. It's far too early to speculate what type of motorsports career this kid could have ahead, but he's off to an impressive start.
