Beloved former Boston Celtics All-Star floor general Isaiah Thomas remains in the hunt to get back into the league he loves to play in with a recent signing of a G League contract that will see the one-time King of the Fourth join the Denver Nuggets‘ G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold this past Monday.

Hoping to use the annual G League Showcase as a vehicle to get back in the NBA, IT recently sat down with Stadium and The Athletic’s Shams Charania to talk his ongoing comeback attempt, almost getting a deal done with the Los Angeles Lakers, his enduring bond with the fans in Boston and more.
