WATCH: Johnny Davis has a big-time highlight for the Wizards

It hasn’t been the easiest of roads for Johnny Davis during his rookie season in the NBA. The No. 10 pick in the 2022 NBA draft has struggled to stick, but has played consistent minutes over the past two weeks for Washington.

The former La Crosse Central star played 23 minutes in Wednesday’s 118-104 loss to the Nuggets, and he had one of the early highlights of his NBA career.

We saw him elevate while going baseline more than a few times last season in his Big Ten Player of the Year campaign for the Badgers. Check out Davis attack the closeout and challenge the shot blocker to finish the sweet reverse layup:

Davis finished with seven points and three rebounds.
