The U.S. for the most part is behind when it comes to public transit. But, data from the American Public Transportation Association shows that in the second quarter of this year, public transit ridership was up slightly across the country. That’s good, but we’re still a heavily car dependent country. Why is that though? It might have something to do with just how sketchy public transit can be.
