The Hoonigan race team is well known for performing some truly wild stunts, and it doesn't seem like they plan on stopping anytime soon. Their latest video is a "science experiment" with the goal of seeing if a rallycross car is able to launch on a slip-n-slide covered in dish soap. We're just as confused-and excited-as you are.

The Hoonigan team put the test together by building a wooden trough and filling it with about 10 buckets of dish soap. The trough acted as a launch pad for the team's 650-horsepower Focus RS RX rallycross car, driven by the team's newest driver, Steve Arpin. Unsurprisingly, even with sticky race tires and all-wheel drive, the car is hardly a match for the slippery soap.

Without the soap, it took Arpin just 1.32 seconds to reach the edge of the trough. With the soap, the journey took 4.93 seconds-nearly four times as long. Surprising? No. Fun to watch? Hell yes. Check out the entire video here.
