2025 Honda Civic Si Gets Several Desirable Upgrades
The 2025 Honda Civic Si is getting many of the same updates as the rest of the Civic family.
It also now has standard heated front seats and a digital gauge cluster, among other upgrades.
The 2025 Civic Si will go on sale in August with a starting price of $31,045.
The biggest news for the 2025 Honda Civic lineup so far is the addition of a hybrid model, but Honda hasn't forgotten about the fun-loving Civic Si sedan. It gets a visual update too for the new model year, with a revised front end and new taillights, plus several desirable features. Despite the addition of more standard kit and numerous infotainment upgrades, pricing is only up by $850, and the 2025 Civic Si starts at a still reasonable $31,045.
Standard heated front seats are among the nicest of the new additions, as previously they weren't available at all on the Civic Si. A 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster is also now standard, and the 9.0-inch infotainment screen adds Google Built-In software, enabling new apps and other connectivity features. Urban Gray Pearl is added to the color palette.
Optional summer tires, which had disappeared from the Civic Si's order sheet for the past two model years, are now back on the menu. They cost an extra $300. Honda also says that the Civic Si's body has been stiffened, and that the suspension is retuned accordingly. The manual's rev-matching system can now operate for downshifts from second to first gear. There are no other changes to the turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four and six-speed manual transmission, and output still sits at 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque.
Honda says the upgraded 2025 Civic Si will go on sale in August, and it'll once again be available only as a sedan, only with a manual transmission, and with the only option being the summer tires. We're still awaiting information on updates to its big sibling, the Civic Type R hatchback, but we expect it to get a few tweaks as well.
