2025 Honda Odyssey Drops Base Model, Now Starts at $43,315
The 2025 Honda Odyssey receives minor styling changes as well as new features.
The Odyssey lineup loses the previous base model, with the EX-L becoming the new entry point and starting at $43,315 (a $3680 increase).
The minivan's new features include a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a new rear-seat entertainment system.
To the untrained eye, the 2025 Honda Odyssey looks a lot like last year's model. However, a closer look will reveal that the minivan receives subtle styling changes, namely a revised grille as well as reworked front and rear bumpers. Along with notable new features, the Odyssey's lineup gets shaken up.
Updated Odyssey
The Odyssey's available trim levels shrink from five to four. Gone is the previous entry-level EX, with the EX-L becoming the new base model. It starts at $43,315, which is $3680 more than last year's EX. The Sport trim also becomes the Sport-L and starts at $44,465. The Touring and Elite both return, and they start at $48,005 and $52,275, respectively.
Whereas all models used to have an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, every Odyssey now has a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen with Honda's latest software. It's claimed to operate quicker than before and comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A rear-seat entertainment is still available, but now it has a bigger 12.8-inch screen that drops down from the headliner. The HDMI port has been moved to inside the center console, and there's a new spot to store a streaming device. The cabin also has more USB-C ports than before. The gauge cluster is new too, as it features a 7.0-inch digital display paired with an analog speedometer.
For 2025, Honda made the black trim around the front fog lights bigger than before. It also added vertical reflectors to the rear bumper, which the company points out are the same as those found on the second-gen Acura NSX. Neat. Other exterior changes include new colors (Solar Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl) and fresh wheel designs, such as a set of machine-finished 19-inchers on the top-of-the-line Elite.
The 2025 Honda Odyssey is still powered by a 280-hp 3.5-liter V-6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission that routes power to the front wheels. Honda says the updated minivan will reach dealerships later this month.
