Apocalypse Manufacturing, the Southern Florida tuning shop which has famously converted a number of trucks and SUVs to 6x6 monsters, has done it again, this time with the modern Land Rover Defender. Called the World Ender, it leverages V8 power, three axles, and other custom touches to make for a standout ride which will have people turning their heads and snapping photos no matter where you take it.

Using the safari Defenders as inspiration, Apocalypse blew out the rear end of the off-road rig to accommodate the extra axle, adding a pickup bed with a tire carrier. It gains a more robust front skid plate, roof rack, and chase rack in the rear. Plus, the front brush guard looks appropriately wild with members at the top mimicking a bull’s horns, appropriately called the “Cow Killer.”
The World Ender 6x6 doesn’t just look aggressive, it’s built to take on whatever nature throws at you. Not only do you get 6-wheel drive, the subframe has been reinforced for added torsional rigidity and the fenders have been flared out for a stance that’s two inches wider than a stock Defender.
With its air-ride suspension, the driver can raise or lower the World Ender by eight inches simply by touching a button. It’s the perfect way to increase clearance to get over trail obstacles or improve handling in urban environments.
Contrasting with the rugged exterior and striking performance is a plush cabin perfect for any excursion. High-end materials, the latest entertainment technologies, and the ability to add custom touches make it a retreat from the bustle of the world.
According to Joseph Ghattas, Founder and CEO of Apocalypse Manufacturing, the company was working on the World Ender for a year before it was revealed. He calls it the “culmination” of the shop’s experience modifying trucks and off-roaders to make them more luxurious and capable, stating it’s “designed to eat the legendary Mercedes G-Wagon 6x6’s lunch.”
We love that aggressive attitude, which translates into this build quite well. While some might find it a little too audacious, Apocalypse doesn’t seem to have any trouble moving what it produces, so we think it will have plenty of success with this 6x6 Defender.
The company says anyone interested in the World Ender can either order a custom build, which allows for personal touches, or can get one that’s already made and available now. Just know the base price is $374,999 so this isn’t a toy many can afford, adding to its allure for those who can.
This also isn’t a ride you take out when you just want to blend in, which is part of the point.
