Additionally, another 296 GTB and an SF90 were involved in a highway crash as participants traveled northward. Details are sparse, but it is believed that the wet and slippery road conditions contributed to these incidents.

The LaFerrari, one of the most exclusive models in the rally, also fell victim to an accident. Social media images reveal significant damage to the car. Reports indicate that it was rear-ended, resulting in considerable damage to the rear bumper, taillight cluster, and exhaust tips. The front bumper and splitter were also damaged, suggesting that the LaFerrari may have rolled into another vehicle following the initial impact.

Repairing a LaFerrari is notoriously expensive. The rear bumper alone costs approximately $63,000, the taillight about $1,000, and the front bumper assembly nearly $42,000. These figures underscore the high cost of maintaining such elite supercars.

The Ferrari Cavalcade, typically a celebration of Ferrari's engineering prowess and a scenic tour for enthusiasts, has faced a challenging start this year. The accidents serve as a reminder of the inherent risks in high-performance driving, even under controlled rally conditions.

As the event continues, participants and organizers will undoubtedly be more vigilant, hoping to prevent further incidents and ensuring that the remainder of the rally proceeds safely and smoothly.
