The seventh iteration of BMW's M5 sports sedan burst onto the scene last month packing a new-age plug-in-hybrid powertrain with a whopping 717 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, along with 5390 pounds to haul around. Now BMW is unveiling a one-off version of the 2025 M5 at that will become the first example delivered in North America after it is auctioned off at Pebble Beach on August 16.

Created through BMW Individual, the brand's customization program, the 2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 pops in its Frozen Orange metallic paint, which is meant to emulate the sunset over Pebble Beach. This hue is set to be discontinued just as M5 production is getting underway, meaning no other 2025 M5 will be coated in Frozen Orange. The M Dual-Spoke wheels wear hand-painted orange accents and measure 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear. Deceleration duties are handled by M carbon-ceramic brakes with Matte Gold calipers.

The motif continues inside, with the M Multi-Function seats finished in Kyalami Orange and Silverstone Merino leather, a bespoke combination for this car. The headrests feature the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance logo that BMW says was printed using an innovative new technology, although the company didn't elaborate on what that process was. The dashboard is decked out with carbon-fiber trim with a dark silver accent and displays the Pebble Beach Concours logo and a "#1/1" badge. The same combination of emblems also appears on the front doorsills.

All told, BMW says that the one-off M5 includes $57,000 worth of options. The M5 features the Driving Assistance Professional package, which enables the ability for hands-free driving on highways in traffic. This example also gains the Executive package, bringing add-ons like an illuminated grille, powered rear sunshade, and ventilated front seats.

A carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic roof, rear spoiler, and sideview mirror come courtesy of the Carbon package, while the M Drive Professional package adds two extra drive modes for track excursions. The M Driver's package also boosts the top speed to 190 mph and includes a one-day driving class at a BMW Performance Center.

The car will be auctioned with no reserve by Gooding & Company on August 16. BMW says that all proceeds beyond the car's MSRP will be donated to the Pebble Beach Company Foundation, which focuses on providing literacy and education programs in Monterey County. The winning bidder should receive the car in late October.
