This Gorgeous Orange One-Off Will Be America's 1st 2025 BMW M5
The latest BMW M5 has arrived packing huge hybrid power, but deliveries are still months away. If you have very little interest in waiting that long and a lot of money, however, BMW and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance have a particularly orange solution for you debuting next month.
The car seen here is set to be the first M5 set to be delivered in America, and it is a one-of-one. This will be the only G90-generation M5 finished in the otherwise-discontinued color Frozen Orange metallic, matched by an equally unique orange-and-white two-tone interior. The headrests, door sills, and dashboard are fitted with the Pebble Beach Concours logo.
BMW says that the car features $57,000 in options, including the Executive package, an advanced driver assistance system package, and a performance package that brings the top speed up to 190 miles per hour. Like all G90-gen M5s, the car also boasts an outrageous 717 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque from a combination of 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 and a hybrid system. Weight, of course, comes in at a hefty 5,390 pounds — around 1,000 lbs heavier than the outgoing M5.
The Pebble Beach M5 will be available at a Gooding & Company auction during Monterey Car Week in August. A planned delivery will follow to the winner in October, making that buyer the first person with a new privately-owned M5 in North America. Proceeds above the car's MSRP will go to the Pebble Beach Company Foundation.
