Pagani Unveils the Stunning Utopia Roadster

Pagani has just taken the wraps off its latest masterpiece, the Utopia Roadster. This convertible version of the Utopia is set to become an instant classic, combining breathtaking design with unmatched performance. The roadster, finished in a striking Habanero Red exposed carbon fiber exterior, looks even more stunning without a roof, allowing drivers to fully immerse themselves in the driving experience.

The Pagani Utopia Roadster retains all the design elements that made the coupe a showstopper. It features the same dual rounded headlights, gaping grille, circular taillights, and iconic quad exhaust tips. The butterfly doors add to the car's dramatic flair, making it a visual treat from every angle. The car rides on staggered 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa Cyber tires, which are equipped with advanced sensors that communicate with the car's ABS, slip control, and traction control systems to optimize performance.

Under the hood, the Utopia Roadster houses a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG. This powerhouse produces an astonishing 852 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque, enabling the roadster to reach an electronically limited top speed of 217 miles per hour. Buyers can choose between a seven-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed automated manual with paddle shifters. Despite the removal of the roof, the roadster weighs exactly the same as the coupe—2,822 pounds—thanks to Pagani's advanced monocoque carbo-titanium chassis and the use of over 40 different composite materials.

The interior of the Utopia Roadster is a blend of luxury and high-tech sophistication. It features extensive use of carbon fiber, leather, and aluminum. The exposed gear linkage remains a signature element, especially for the seven-speed manual version. The steering wheel, crafted from a single piece of 9,480-pound metal, is a marvel of engineering, weighing just 5.3 pounds after 28 hours of continuous milling.

Only 130 units of the Utopia Roadster will be produced, each priced at €3.1 million (approximately $3.4 million USD). The first unit will make its debut during Monterey Car Week in August, providing enthusiasts and collectors a rare opportunity to witness this automotive marvel up close.
