OK, so maybe it's not the "real" Wagon Queen Family Truckster, a damn fine automobile if you want my honest opinion, because of the five George Barris made from 1979 Ford LTD Country Squire wagons for "Vacation," only one supposedly exists and it's parked in Illinois, while this one gets the hammer at Mecum's Houston auction Saturday. Still beats the hell out of the SportsWagon. And try finding an Antarctic Blue SportsWagon anywhere.

And I'm just as upset as you that this probably didn't appear in the film, despite the authentic hubcaps and dashboard panel and even Dinky's leash hanging off the bumper. But you know what's better than a movie? A 30-second Super Bowl commercial from 2010 with Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo. If you think you hate it now, wait until you drive it.
