Tesla Model X video ride along

At last night's event, a few select guests, journalists, and other VIPs got the opportunity to experience the Model X firsthand (from the six passengers' seats, anyway).

After climbing through the expansive "falcon door" opening, I'd have to say that instantaneous torque was the most notable feature from the back seat. However, front seat occupants will likely appreciate the 17-inch "Tesla touchscreen" located in the center console, which operates all of the driver's secondary controls, as well as the car's web connectivity. Elon Musk says that Tesla sourced many of the unit's parts from Apple's supply chain, but that the Tesla touchscreen's contrast is better than anything you'll find on a comparable MacBook Pro.
