Ukrainian driver catches near miss from rocket strike on his dashcam

Totaling the car you spent hundreds of hours customizing is rarely considered a fortuitous event — except when the alternative would have been dying in a rocket strike.

A Donetsk resident who goes by the name "Vova Prach" posted a video entitled “my second birthday” on the Russian social media site Vkontakte on Tuesday, showing how he narrowly avoided some kind of airborne explosion just a few yards in front of his heavily modified VAZ-2101. Although the flying chunks of asphalt took out his decal-laden car, the driver emerged safe from Cold-War era sedan.
