Watch Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen ride his way to victory in a lawnmower race

Just days before Ferrari Formula One driver Kimi Raikkonen hit the track at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, where he crashed hard on the first lap badly bruising his ankle, the Finnish star took part in a different form of motorsports: Lawnmower racing.

Kimi, who's known for his dry sense of humor and non-corporate attitude, competed against former British F1 drivers Johnny Herbert, Anthony Davidson and Martin Brundle as part of the BBC's pre-race show. As you can see, Raikkonen did rather well, but then he did try his hand at rallying a few years ago, so that's got to help, right?

While the lawnmowers look a little top heavy, Kimi's does appear to handle better than his 2014 Ferrari F1 car. Let's hope he enjoyed the moment, because it's likely to be the only race he wins this season.
