Watch the Nissan Juke-R spank three supercars in Dubai

To complete the public relations stunt that is the Nissan Juke-R, Nissan's European arm invited journalists to Dubai last week to put the Juke body over a shortened GT-R chassis through some paces, including a "race" with a Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Gallardo and Mercedes SLS AMG. I'll give you three guesses on what wins, and the first two don't count.

The rule of thumb for any such event is that if an automaker has a competitor's car sitting at their event, it's not there to show up the main attraction. (We'd also question the Ambien intake of the supercar drivers in this video.) Putting 580 hp through the massively shoehorned, all-wheel-drive GT-R chassis turns the Juke-R into a modern-day equivalent of the famed Group B rally racers of the 1980s. It's a well-played stunt that might see a handful built -- but given the difficulty of assembly, and the rouge way Nissan Europe went about the project, this could be an exit on a high exhaust note.
